GateAtlas ("we", "our", "us") is committed to transparency about how the app handles your data. This policy explains what is collected, what stays on your device, and how information is used.

1. Data Stored on Your Device

All core app data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Saved airports (My Passport)
• Recently viewed airports
• Trip data
• Pin and sort preferences
• App settings (map opening preference, unit preference)
• Local airport cache for offline access

No account or sign-in is required to use GateAtlas.

2. Network Requests

GateAtlas makes the following network requests to provide app functionality:

• Airport data: Fetched from our backend provider (Supabase) to display airport listings and maps.
• Weather data: Fetched from Open-Meteo (a free, open-source weather API) using airport coordinates to display live weather and local time. No personal data is sent with these requests.

These requests do not include personal identifiers, accounts, or tracking data.

3. Tracking and Advertising

GateAtlas does not:

• Track you across third-party apps or websites
