GateAtlas (“we”, “our”, “us”) explains what data is collected, what stays on-device, and how data is used.

1) Data Collected and Stored Remotely (server-side)

The following data is collected, transmitted to our backend provider (Supabase), and stored remotely:

• Email Address (for sign-in/authentication)
• User ID / Account Identifier (Supabase user ID)
• Username / Display Name
• User Content (Live Feed posts)
• User Actions on Content (votes, reports, stale flags)
• Airport Requests (if submitted)

This data is linked to your account where applicable.

2) Data Stored Only On Your Device (not transmitted by default)

The following data is stored locally on your device and is not sent to our backend unless a specific feature requires it:

• Saved airports (“My Passport”)
• Recently viewed airports
• Trip data
• Pin/sort preferences
• App settings (for example, map opening preference)
• Local airport cache / offline fallback data
